Terms of Service

Last updated: October 6, 2026

1. Who we are

DiscloseAI is operated by Vritah Technologies LLP ("we", "us"). These Terms govern your use of discloseai.tech, including the AI inventory assessment, reports, documentation exports, team workspaces, API, and related services we provide (the "Service").

2. The Service

DiscloseAI is a guided questionnaire that helps you catalog the AI systems your business uses and compares your answers against requirements drawn from applicable AI regulation — currently the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), Articles 5 and 50 and Annex III. A free scope check needs no account. With a free account you can list a limited number of AI tools and see a risk tier for each. Paid plans add per-tool findings, suggested next steps, a controls-alignment view, evidence, policies, training records, exports and the other features listed on the pricing page.

The Service is informational only and does not constitute legal advice. Every finding is derived solely from the answers you provide — we do not inspect, test, or audit your AI systems. Findings are only as accurate and complete as those answers, and the Service may not cover every obligation that applies to you. You are responsible for confirming your actual legal obligations with a qualified advisor.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the information you submit ("your content"), such as tool names, answers, and team details. You grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide, secure, and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to submit your content and for its accuracy.

4. Assessment links and accounts

Each assessment is reachable through a private link containing an access token. Anyone with that link can view and edit an assessment until it is saved to an account, so keep it confidential. Saving an assessment to an account, team workspaces, and some other features require an account, handled by our authentication provider (Clerk). You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Team administrators control who is invited to their workspace and can see its assessments and audit history.

5. API access

Team administrators may create API keys to read their team's inventory data programmatically. Keys are shown once at creation; treat them as secrets, and revoke any key you believe is exposed. API use is subject to rate limits, and we may revoke keys used in breach of these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to access assessments, accounts, or data that are not yours; to probe, disrupt, or overload the Service or its infrastructure; to circumvent rate limits, payment, or access controls; or to resell or republish the Service or its reports as your own product without our written permission. We may suspend access for misuse.

7. Payments

Payments are processed by Paddle.net, which acts as merchant of record and handles applicable taxes (including EU VAT); Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase. Prices are shown before checkout and may change for future purchases.

  • Plans — monthly or annual subscriptions that belong to your organisation, billed in advance and renewing until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; cancelling stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period, except where required by law. There is no free trial.
  • When a plan ends — your data is kept. Paid features become read-only: you can open and export what you created, but cannot add to those features until you subscribe again.
  • Earlier one-time purchases — an assessment unlocked with the one-time report purchase we used to sell stays unlocked, whatever plan your organisation is on. The one-time report is no longer sold.

Refund requests are handled in line with Paddle's refund policy and applicable consumer law.

8. Regulatory change

Laws and their interpretation change. A report that was unlocked with the earlier one-time purchase records the version of the rules used to score it, so it stays reproducible. Reports under a plan are scored against the rules in force when you open them, so they can change when we update the rules. Either way, a report reflects the law as we have encoded it and does not replace advice. Reminder emails about overdue reviews or updated rules are a convenience, not a guarantee that you will be notified of every change relevant to you.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it is complete, error-free, or fit for a particular compliance purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vritah Technologies LLP is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for regulatory penalties, fines, or losses arising from reliance on assessments, reports, exports, or API data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time and will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
