Know your AI inventory before a regulator asks

DiscloseAI is the AI governance platform that catalogs every AI system across support, hiring, and marketing — then scores each one against the EU AI Act, straight from the regulation's own text. No inferred passes. No guesswork.

Our standard

Zero false passes. By design.

A wrong “compliant” is worse than no answer at all. So the engine never asserts more certainty than your own answers support.

Met

Only when you've explicitly confirmed the control is in place. Never inferred.

Gap

Only when your own answer says a control is missing. Never assumed.

Needs review

When you're not sure — a legal judgment call is flagged, not silently passed.

No vanity score

No single 0–100 number that hides what's actually missing.

The platform

One place to track every AI tool you run

From the first inventory to the annual review — scored, versioned, and ready to hand to your advisor.

Inventory

Guided AI system inventory

One plain-language question per screen, only the ones that apply to that tool. Resumable from a private link — built for an interrupted workday, not a focused afternoon.

Rules engine

Versioned, replayable rules

Every ruleset is versioned and dated, so you can see which version scored a tool and what changed when the law or our rules moved on.

Frameworks

Controls alignment

Findings regroup by NIST AI RMF function and cite ISO/IEC 42001 clauses — the vocabulary your compliance team already speaks.

Audit

Field-level audit trail

Every create, edit, claim and payment is logged as a field-by-field diff. See who changed what, and when.

Monitoring

Continuous review

A daily digest flags tools overdue for their annual review and reports scored under a ruleset that's since changed.

Teams & API

Built for the whole organization

Shared team workspaces with admin and member roles, and the day-to-day governance work around the report: a risk register and incident log per tool, vendor tracking, policies with sign-off, AI-literacy training, tool-request approvals, a public AI page and a board pack. Org-scoped API keys feed your inventory into the GRC tools you already use.

The report

A report your auditor, counsel, and board can actually read

Plain-language findings, grouped by regulation or by NIST AI RMF function, each with a concrete next step. Exportable to PDF and shareable as a standalone document.

What is an AI governance platform?

+

An AI governance platform is software that helps a business track every AI system it uses, assess each one against applicable regulation, and document the result — replacing ad hoc spreadsheets with a structured, auditable record. DiscloseAI is an AI governance platform focused on the EU AI Act: it builds your AI inventory, scores each tool against Article 5, Article 50, and Annex III, and maps findings to NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42001.

What is an AI inventory and why does my business need one?

+

An AI inventory is a documented list of every AI system a business uses — chat assistants, CV screeners, drafting tools, AI features inside other software — along with what each one does and who's responsible for it. The EU AI Act requires operators to know this to determine which obligations apply per system; without an inventory, you can't tell which of your tools trigger Article 5, Article 50, or Annex III requirements.

Does my chatbot need an AI disclosure notice under EU law?

+

Usually yes, if it uses AI (like Intercom, Drift, Tidio, or a custom LLM widget) and the site targets EU users — Article 50 requires telling visitors they're talking to AI, unless that's already obvious from context, and this has applied since August 2, 2026. Who has to build the notice in depends on who built the widget: if you built the chat feature yourself, you're the provider under the Act and that's your obligation directly. If you're using a vendor's widget as-is, the vendor is the provider responsible for building the notice in — your job as the deployer is to confirm it's switched on and visible before you rely on it.

What counts as an AI chat widget under Article 50?

+

Any chat interface where an AI system, not a human, generates the replies — common vendors include Intercom, Drift, Tidio, Crisp, Zendesk Chat, HubSpot Chat, Chatbase, Voiceflow, Landbot, and ManyChat, plus custom-built bots and generic chat iframes.

What happens if I don't comply?

+

Under Article 99 of the EU AI Act, using a prohibited AI practice (Article 5) can be fined up to €35 million or 7% of worldwide annual turnover, whichever is higher. Breaching other operator obligations — including Article 50's transparency duties — can be fined up to €15 million or 3%. For SMEs and start-ups, each fine is capped at whichever of the two amounts is lower.

How do I fix a non-compliant AI chatbot?

+

If you built the chat feature yourself: add a clear, visible statement near the widget — such as "You're chatting with an AI assistant" — before or at the start of the conversation. It must be obvious to an average user, not buried in a privacy policy or terms page. If you're using a vendor's widget (Intercom, Drift, Zendesk, HubSpot, or similar), check its settings for a disclosure or AI-labeling toggle and turn it on — most mainstream vendors already offer one.

Does the EU AI Act apply if my company isn't based in the EU?

+

It can. The Act applies to deployers established outside the EU where the output produced by the AI system is used in the Union. If your AI tools serve people in the EU, check your obligations regardless of where your company is incorporated.

How does DiscloseAI avoid telling me I'm compliant when I'm not?

+

Every verdict comes from your own answers, never inferred. A requirement is only marked "met" when you've explicitly confirmed the control is in place, and only marked a "gap" when your answer says it's missing. If you're unsure — for example whether a system counts as "manipulative" under Article 5 — the finding is marked "needs review" instead of silently passing.

Which tools should I put in my AI inventory?

+

Anything that generates predictions, content, recommendations, or decisions from the input it gets — the EU AI Act's definition of an AI system (Article 3(1)). That covers chat assistants like ChatGPT or Microsoft 365 Copilot, website chatbots, AI features inside tools you already use (CRM, helpdesk, video calls, design tools), CV screeners, credit scoring, image generators, and anything your own team built on an AI model. Automation that only follows rules a person wrote — email filters, fixed Zapier steps, spreadsheet macros — usually isn't AI. When unsure, list it.

How much does DiscloseAI cost?

+

The EU AI Act scope check is free, and so is an AI inventory of up to 5 tools with a risk tier for each. Paid plans start at €29 a month (Starter), then €99 (Growth) and €299 (Business), with two months free on annual billing. They add the findings behind each tier, the next step for each gap, evidence, policies, training records and exports. No free trial, cancel any time, and your data is kept if you do. See the pricing page for what each plan includes.
